1. Mahmud of Ghazni Launches his most famous expedition against the Shrine of Somnath in Kathiawar the Shrine falls the next year.Mahmud captures Somnath patan(town) and the temple.The king of Anhilwara is attacked for his defense of Somnath. Bhimdev -I ,flees to the island fort of khandah .
2 . A kanada Brahmin, Chavundaraya , writes Lokpakara , a guide to daily life. The encyclopaedic work covers astronomy,astrology.sculpture and construction of buildings.

Taj Mahal : The Eternal Love Story

Taj Mahal Taj Mahal the wonder of the modern world , is one most popular mausoleum of Asia.Every person who  came to India must visit Taj Mahal " Dream in White Marble ". It was built by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his most loveable wife Mumtaz Mahal in 1648 A.D at Agra. Construction began in 1631 A.D and was competed in 22 years by 20,000 workers and Architects .
